Potala Palace
The Potala Palace, located in Lhasa, Tibet, used to be the residence of Dalai Lama and today it's the abode of Chenresig or Avalokitesvara. The Potala Palace has been converted to a museum by the Chinese authorities which attracts visitors in huge numbers. The Potala Palace has been named so as it's located on Mount Potala. The Potala Palace has around 1000 rooms, 10000 shrines & about 200000 statues.
